Glitter Candles in Tins

1. First Burn

• Allow your candle to burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the top (usually 2–4 hours for small candles, 4–6 hours for larger ones).
• This prevents “tunneling,” where only the center burns down and leaves wax on the sides.

2. Wick Maintenance

• Keep the wick trimmed to ¼ inch (0.6 cm) before each burn.
• A properly trimmed wick ensures a steady flame and prevents soot or smoke.

3. Burning Tips

• Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface.
• Keep away from drafts, vents, or fans to ensure an even burn.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.

4. Extinguishing

• Use a snuffer if possible to prevent smoke and hot wax splatter.
• Avoid blowing out candles, as this can create soot and uneven surfaces.

5. Reusing Your Candle Container

• After your candle is finished, allow wax to fully cool before removing any leftover wax.
• Clean your container with warm, soapy water and reuse it for decoration, storage, or refills.

6. Safety First

• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Avoid moving a candle while it is lit or when the wax is still liquid.

7. Storage

• Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and melting.
